Alices Fall in Regional Semi-Final to Heritage Hills

The Vincennes Lincoln Alices saw their postseason run come to an end Thursday night, falling 3-1 to Heritage Hills in the Boys Soccer Regional Semi-final.

Lincoln jumped out to an early advantage, scoring in the 23rd minute to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. However, Heritage Hills stormed back in the second half with three unanswered goals.

The Patriots tied the match in the 54th minute when Fabian Garcia converted a penalty kick. Ten minutes later, Berke Eisenhaur found the back of the net to put Heritage Hills ahead for good. Dylan Toy added an insurance goal in the 72nd minute to seal the 3-1 win.

The match saw several yellow cards issued, including one to Vincennes Lincoln’s Carson Heiden in the 37th minute. Paxton Smith received a yellow in the 72nd minute, followed by one assessed to the Alices’ bench in the 73rd.

Heritage Hills advances to the Regional Championship, while Vincennes Lincoln’s season concludes with a strong tournament showing.
