The City of Albion during their October City Council meeting announced that they received a grant for around $274,000 to resurface Elm Street. Paul Bruinsma appeared before Judge Denton Aud in Wayne County Court on Tuesday. In that appearance, Bruinsma waived his right to a formal arraignment and reading of the charges. A plea agreement in the case has been reached, depending on a sex offender evaluation to be completed.
