The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the closure of State Road 241 in Southern Knox County for a pipe replacement project. October 3, 2025 - The City of Fairfield water department has issued a boil order for the following two streets: Witter Drive, and SE 9th Street. All water used for human consumption should be boiled until notification that water samples have passed testing. Updates will be posted.
