Crews Respond to Single-Vehicle Crash on Highway 168

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a single-vehicle accident Wednesday evening along Highway 168 near Snake Run Road.

Authorities say the vehicle left the roadway and came to rest on its side in a wooded ditch. Responders spent about an hour clearing brush and debris to allow a towing company to remove the vehicle from the area.

The Fort Branch Fire Department, Haubstadt Police Department, Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, and Gibson County Ambulance Service all responded to the scene.

No further details have been released regarding possible injuries or the cause of the crash.
