WASHINGTON – A Daviess County man will spend the next 150 years behind bars for the murder of Aracelly Torres as well as the attempted murder of Yarely Santiago-Torres and Concepcion Ramirez-Martinez of Washington.
Abel Dubon-Castillo was sentenced by judge Dan Murrie on Monday. Dubon-Castillo was found guilty of 1 count of murder and 2 counts of attempted murder following an incident that took place in February of 2024.
Daviess County Prosecutor, Abby Brown and Deputy Prosecutor, Kurt Leinenbach presented the case. Brown praised the Washington Police Department for their work as well as those working the case from Indiana State Police and the Knox County High Tech Crime Unit.
