SR 241 To Close in Monroe City Thursday

The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the closure of State Road 241 in Southern Knox County for a pipe replacement project.

INDOT officials say the closure will take place beginning Thursday between Buchannon Street and Cates Road.

Officials expect the closure to be in place for a couple of days, weather permitting.

The official detour uses State Road 61, Bierhaus Boulevard, US 41 to US 50. Local traffic will have access to the point of closure.
