Mount Carmel Boys Golf Finishes 8th at T-Town Sectional

The Mount Carmel Golden Aces as a team saw their Boys Golf season come to an end after an 8th place showing in the Boys Golf Sectional at Teutopolis. Red Bud, Teutoplis, and Father McGivney of Glen Carbon all advanced.

Cisne Senior Hagen Howard advanced with a round of 78, 11 strokes behind the medalist.

Mount Carmel’s Zane Wilcox missed the chance to play on by shooting at 79. Newton’s Michael Kennedy shot an 80 while Jack James shot an 81. Logan Mobely for Mount Carmel and Edwards Counry’s Waller Sledge shot an 84 each. Robinson’s Mason Arnone shot an 85. Hatcher Kanipe, Joel Schnider, and Newton’s Nolan Cleaver shot an 88. Edwards County’s Mason Smiley shot a 92 while Flora’s Noah Hatcher and Oblong’s Riley Blank shot a 95. Drake Stevenson shot a 97 for Mount Carmel while Dean Belt shot a 111.
