Fairfield Memorial Hospital Hosting Blood Drive Friday

Fairfield Memorial Hospital will be holding a Blood Drive on Friday, October 10th in their educational annex building. The drive will take place from 10:30 am until 3:30 PM

Red Cross officials continue to report a shortage of blood throughout the area.

According to the red cross website, the drive currently has 4 regular blood and 3 power red donation spots available.

To donate blood, you must be 17 years of age, weigh 110 pounds, and be in good general health. You also must have not donated blood in the last 8 weeks or had a power red donation in the last 16 weeks.

You can register online at redcrossblood.org. Those who donate at this drive will also receive a free meal ticket to the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Cafeteria.
