The Chick-fil-A Food Truck that served communities across Kentucky and Southern Indiana for nearly six years will no longer be in operation following a recent accident.

According to a statement from the Chick-fil-A Food Truck team, the vehicle was involved in an accident last week. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. However, after careful consideration, the team announced that they have made the difficult decision to step away from the food truck program.

“From the very start you’ve welcomed us with open arms,” the team said in their statement. “For nearly six years, you’ve shown our team so much kindness, loyalty, and support — and we can’t thank you enough. Every visit, every smile, every ‘see you next time’ has meant more to us than you know.”

The food truck, which traveled to multiple communities bringing Chick-fil-A’s popular menu items to areas without a nearby restaurant, became a familiar sight across the region.

“It’s been our absolute joy to bring the taste of Chick-fil-A to communities all across Kentucky and Southern Indiana,” the team added. “We’ll miss you dearly — and we’ll always be grateful for the memories we made together.”

No further details were released regarding future food truck operations or replacements.
