Geff Man Takes Plea Deal in 2023 Case

A Geff, Illinois man has accepted a plea deal in a case stemming from 2023.

According to Wayne County court records, 50-year-old Randall G. Rockett pleaded guilty to a single charge of reckless driving. As part of the agreement, multiple other charges — including aggravated DUI, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of at least .08, and improper lane usage — were dismissed.

Rockett was sentenced to one year of probation, ordered to pay $1,500 in fines, and must complete 100 hours of public service work.

The plea agreement concludes a case that had been pending in Wayne County Circuit Court for more than a year.
