AgroRenew Suspends Plans for Knox County Manufacturing Facility

AgroRenew announced Friday that it has suspended its plans to construct a manufacturing plant in Knox County. The company cited unforeseen circumstances, continued delays in the delivery of process equipment, and growing financial constraints related to international shipments as factors affecting the project’s construction timeline and current feasibility.

Despite the suspension, AgroRenew emphasized that it remains committed to the long-term goals of the project. In coordination with the Knox County Indiana Development Corporation (KCIED), the company has transferred ownership of the Elkhorn Road property back to KCIED and completed the associated deed transfer. Additionally, AgroRenew has pledged to repay grant funds received through local economic development incentives.

The company has also committed to repurchasing investments from local stakeholders who contributed to the project. AgroRenew stated that it continues to collaborate with its partners on the ongoing application and development of its proprietary formulations and technology.
