Albion Man Appears in Court on Aggravated Sexual Abuse Charges

A 25-year-old Albion man appeared in Edwards County Court this week for a pretrial conference on multiple felony charges.

According to court records, Hunter Futrill faces two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim over the age of five and one count of grooming.

During his appearance, Futrill waived his right to a speedy trial, allowing additional time for legal proceedings and case preparation.

The court has scheduled the next pretrial conference for October 17 in Edwards County.
