Bridgeport Looking to Replace Police Officer

The Bridgeport City Council has accepted the resignation of Patrolman Austin Biehl, who will be leaving the department effective October 21, 2025.

Biehl is departing to join the Lawrenceville Police Department. With his resignation, the city is now seeking applicants to fill the vacancy on the Bridgeport Police force.

Those interested in applying can pick up and submit applications at Bridgeport City Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
