Bruinsma Set for Tuesday Court Appearance

Former Wayne City Board Member and Frontier Community College Dean of Instruction, Paul Bruinsma is set to appear in Wayne County Court at 9 Tuesday morning. 

According to the Wayne County Court Dockett, Bruinsma is set to have a detention hearing and an initial appearance. The 52-year-old Bruinsma faces charges of grooming and criminal sexual abuse. According to information obtained by Illiana News, the incident happened on February 25, 2023.

Bruinsma is currently being held in the Wayne County Jail.
