Early Morning Train Derailment Near Gibson Generating Station

Emergency crews were called to the rail line near Duke Energy's Gibson Generating Station for a train derailment early Wednesday. According to authorities, the derailment happened on the Indiana Side of the Big Four Bridge, injuring a couple of rail workers. The train was hauling coal from Mount Carmel to Gibson Station. The investigation into the accident continues.
