Officials in Oakland City have announced a boil order for a portion jf the community until further notice. According to city officials, the boil order is in effect for residents of Oakland City from the Catalpha Street intersection on South Jackson Street to County Road 200 S until further notice. Officials say that water needs to be boiled for 5 minutes prior to consumption.
