Wayne County Man Arrested on Auto Part Theft Charge

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Wayne County Man on a auto part theft charge. 19-year-old Eagan Summers was taken into custody and booked into the Wayne County Jail on a charge of unlawful possession of a vehicle part, knowing it to be stolen. Summers remains in the Wayne County Jail, pending a detention hearing.

Those can be turned into the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office. on East Morgan Street. Children must between the ages of 3 and 14 to participate. The State of Illinois has announced that the Mount Carmel branch of the Illinois Secretary of State's Office will be closing. According to the state, the location is one of the lowest used locations in the state, averaging around 15 license transactions daily. The staff will be transferred to a nearby location. Nearby Secretary of State locations include Lawrenceville, Carmi, Fairfield, and Olney. The final day will be November 14th.
