Lawrenceville Sheriff's Deputies arrested a Lawrence County Couple Wednesday Evening after a call to a domestic dispute. 41-year-old Jennifer Vowels and 27-year-old Austin Vowels we both taken into custody on charges of domestic battery. Both are being held in the Lawrence County Jail, pending a court appearance.

ALBION - The City of Albion has announced that a local street will close next Wednesday for a few days as pavement resurfacing will take place. Officials in Albion say that South 5th Street from Main to Cherry Street will be closed beginning October 1st and is expected to reopen to traffic by the end of the day on October 3rd, weather permitting.

A major road closure next week will affect several people in Fairfield. Norfolk Southern will be working on the rail crossing on US 45 starting Monday Morning. City officials say the road will be closed near the railroad crossing through Friday, October 3rd. The official detour will use King Street, Southwest 4th Street, and Highland Avenue.
