Fire Breaks Out on South Side of Vincennes

Fire crews in Vincennes were called to a working structure fire to 1719 Joice Street. The call came in around 8 AM Upon arrival, fire crews found the house on the property to be fully engulfed. Work Coming to Vincennes 6th Street Exit

INDOT has announced that maintenance work will be taking place next week for light maintenance. Beginning on or around Tuesday, October 14, crews will begin alternating lane restrictions on ramps at the U.S. 41/6th Street/U.S. 50 interchange in Vincennes for the maintenance work. Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man Tuesday following investigation into an incident involving a weapon. At 10:50 AM, 41-year-old Edmond King was booked into the Knox County Jail. Vincennes Rotary Selling 52 for 52 Tickets for 2026

For many years, the Vincennes Rotary Club has raised money by holding a weekly giveaway of $250 for 52 weeks. Officials with Rotary are now selling tickets for the 2026 fundraiser. Over the years, the Vincennes Rotary has used the money raised for service projects, community events, and scholarships for area high school students. Tickets are $52 and are available through any Vincennes Rotarian.
