Lawrence County Court Hands Down A Few Prison Sentences From Court Hearing

The Lawrence County States Attorney’s Office has announced a few sentences have come the court this week.

Amber Rogers, 39, of Bridgeport, was convicted of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony under Illinois law. Rogers was initially placed on probation; however, she subsequently violated the terms of her probation. As a result, she has been sentenced to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC), to be followed by six months of mandatory supervised release.

Blace Bloebaum, 22, of Lawrenceville, was also convicted of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and initially placed on probation. After violating the terms of his probation, and while still on probation, Bloebaum was charged again with the same offense. He has been sentenced to three and one-half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for each offense, to be served concurrently, followed by six months of mandatory supervised release on each count.

Jason Fredrick, 45, of Lawrenceville, was convicted of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and sentenced to seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. His sentence will be followed by one year of mandatory supervised release.
