Mount Carmel Man Sentenced to 3 Years in IDOC

A Mount Carmel, Illinois man was sentenced to time in the Illinois Department of Corrections following a hearing in Wayne County Court on Thursday.

59-year-old Wayne L. Davis will spend 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a year of mandatory supervised release. The sentence is to be served concurrent with a sentence out of Edwards County. Davis was credited with 100 days of time served. The charges in this case were delivery of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.

Davis is scheduled to be in Edwards County Court on Friday on a count of possession of meth.
