Multiple Agencies Arrest Man for On Drug Dealing Charges in Gibson County

PRINCETON – The Princeton Police Department, Indiana State Police, and the Evansville Resident Office of the DEA made the arrest of a Chicago man on Wednesday, following a traffic stop near Hazleton.

According to information from the Princeton Police Department, all agencies involved had surveilance on Levertes Goodwin as he was traveling to Gibson County from Chicago. ISP Troopers conducted the stop initially for speeding. During the stop, troopers say they observed the smell of marijuana in the vehicle and a K-9 unit was called to investigate. A search turned up a glass jar that contained marijuana and 2 5-lb vacuum-sealed bags that contained crystal methamphetamine.

Goodwin was booked into the Gibson County Jail and charged with dealing in methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
