New York Man Arrested Following ISP Traffic Stop on I-69

A New York man is behind bars following a traffic stop on I-69 in Daviess County.

At 11:25 AM, 29-year-old Tracy Matthers was booked into the Davies’s County Security Center. According to Indiana State Police, a trooper recorded Matthers driving 121 miles per hours on the interstate, more than 50 miles per hour over the speed limit in his Chrysler 300. The trooper during the stop also found Matthers to be in possession of marijuana.

Matthers officially faces charges of reckless driving and possession of marijuana. Matthers is being held on $10,000 bond in the Daviess county Security Center.
