Pavement Work Beinning Monday in Washington

Milestone Paving is scheduled to begin a new round of paving work in Washington starting Monday, October 13. City officials are advising motorists to avoid the affected areas during work hours and to observe temporary parking restrictions.

According to the city, paving crews will be working from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances.

The tentative paving schedule is as follows:

Monday, October 13, 2025

• Mill Street (Axtel to Center) SE 14th Street (State to Washington)
• Woodlawn (State Road 257 to End)

Tuesday, October 14, 2025

• Harned Avenue (Meridian Street to Highway 57)

Residents and drivers are asked to avoid these areas when possible and to ensure no vehicles are parked along the designated routes during paving hours.
