WASHINGTON — A second suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the October 6, 2025, armed robbery at the Marathon gas station in Washington.
According to the Washington Police Department, detectives identified the second suspect as 17-year-old Kaleb Biggs of Evansville during the course of their investigation. Following their findings, the Daviess County Prosecutor’s Office charged Biggs as an adult with Armed Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery, and Theft (Firearm). An arrest warrant was subsequently issued.
On October 10, 2025, Biggs was taken into custody without incident with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, and Evansville Police Department.
Washington Police detectives expressed their appreciation to all assisting agencies, personnel, and members of the public for their support and cooperation, which contributed to the timely arrests of both suspects involved in the case.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
