Three Arrested Over the Weekend in Wayne County

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported three separate arrests over the weekend, with individuals facing a range of charges including burglary, resisting law enforcement, and battery of a peace officer.

According to arrest records, Justin Angle, 42, was taken into custody Friday afternoon around 3:34 p.m. He faces charges of resisting a peace officer and criminal trespass. On Saturday morning at approximately 10:54 a.m., 19-year-old Luke Rankin was arrested on charges of burglary of a motor vehicle and motor vehicle theft. Later that same day, at around 5:39 p.m., 37-year-old Matthew Gaudern was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property, aggravated battery of a peace officer, and disorderly conduct.

All three suspects were booked into the Wayne County Jail, where they remained in custody through the weekend awaiting initial court appearances.
