Vincennes Community School Board Set to Meet Tuesday Evening

The Vincennes Community School Corporation Board of Trustees will convene for its regular October meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the corporation’s administrative center.

A number of financial matters are listed under decision items on the agenda. The board is expected to consider a Resolution to Transfer Funds from the Education Fund to the Rainy Day Fund, a Resolution for the 2025 Budget Hearing Authorization for Reductions, a Resolution to Transfer Funds from the Education Fund to the Operations Fund, and a Resolution to Transfer Interest from the Education Fund to the Operations Fund.

Also slated for consideration are a Resolution to Issue a Tax Anticipation Warrant and the adoption of the 2025 budget.

The main session of the meeting is open to the public. Following the regular meeting, the board will enter into an executive session, which is closed to the public pursuant to Indiana law.
