Illiana News, a division of ILIN Media LLC, has an opening for a beat reporter for Wayne and Edwards Counties in Illinois. A beat reporter will gather information from jails, firehouses, courthouses, and various government organizations. The position is part-time. Starting pay is $15 per hour plus a monthly fuel stipend. We will train you and show you everything you need to know for the position. Candidates must have sufficient transportation with a valid drivers license, and have the ability to send information via email to our newsroom. Writing experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
